We consider ourselves a very relaxed, informal & friendly club that tries to welcome all dancers whatever
style or standard of dance. We have a 'Welcome Table' whereby anyone 'new on the scene' or without
a partner, can sit with us & hopefully never feel intimidated by some of the excellent / expert dancers.
We aim to get everyone on the floor ... hopefully our dancers all enjoy the atmosphere and make new friends.
We hold a variety of dances throughout the year, including Rock 'n' Roll, Boogie Woogie & 40's Swing
Several of these we call Jive Mix - 40's/50's dances catering for all styles of Jive

Our resident DJ ~ Galaxie 500 Record Hop (Bob) / The Colonel, is well known
on the 'dance scene', willing to play whatever is requested ~ within limits !

XMAS events are usually designated 'fancy dress' to add to the fun & get everyone in a party mood.
